About Us

The Chabot-Las Positas Community College District (CLPCCD) was chosen by the Occupational Health & Safety Administration in January 2008 as the first and only authorized Northern California OSHA Training Institute Education Center.  The CLPCCD OSHA Training Center (OTC) serves OSHA’s Region 9 which includes California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, Guam and American Samoa.

The CLPCCD OSHA Training Center provides high quality, standards-based OSHA training to both experienced and novice safety professionals.  All OTC instructors are experienced industry specialists dedicated to teaching current OSHA standards using real world examples and personal experiences.

OTC offers a variety of fundamental and trainer occupational safety courses as well as customized and on-site (at your location) trainings to accommodate organizations and businesses.  New courses and programs are being added regularly, and are currently offered throughout the western United States.

Located in the Tri-Valley region of the East Bay, only 30 minutes from beautiful San Francisco, the CLPCCD OSHA Training Center is accessible by public transportation and within driving distance of scenic recreation areas and parks, gourmet dining and world famous wineries, great shopping, and a wide variety of entertainment, theatre and nightlife.
